Happy August from Röbller Vineyard!
Thank you to our guests who have visited us this summer. We’ve missed hosting our traditional tastings, but we’ve been happy to continue to safely share our outdoor space with old and new friends. While the pandemic has forced changes to how we all do things, we’ve been grateful that our Röbller hillside is perfectly situated for social distancing. Fresh air, sunshine, and great wine — the simple pleasures of life are here!
We continue to be open from 10 to 4 Monday through Friday, 10 to 5 on Saturday, and 12 to 5 on Sunday. (Note — For guests who have purchased tickets to the Wild Bacon Wine Trail, we will be open for you at 11 a.m. on Sunday, August 9.)
What you can expect when you visit …
Order your favorite wine from our walk-up window. A plexiglass divider separates our staff from guests for the protection of all.
Masks are encouraged, but not required.
Plenty of outdoor seating on our wide-open hillside, overlooking the vineyard. You’ll find 9 picnic tables under cover, three on our deck, five uncovered in our field, and another 15 covered on our pavilion — seating that makes it easy to maintain social distance from other winery guests.
Indoor restrooms available. Main building is closed to guests.
Many of our family and staff are in the high-risk category for COVID, so we promise to do all we can to serve you safely. We appreciate the positive feedback we’ve heard from guests this summer. New guests are delighted at the quality of our European-profile wines and the comfort of pastoral setting that many old friends have enjoyed for years.
Our 28th annual Reggae Sunsplash will not take place as we had originally planned during August, but watch for details on a smaller event tentatively planned for September 26. We still hope to have Nezzie's Jamaican food, reggae music — even a few hot air balloons taking off from the vineyard — in a safe atmosphere for our guests.
Reminder — You can call ahead (573-237-3986) for easy pick up if you want to enjoy your wine at home. Ask about out 6-bottle party packs and special discounts on cases.
